We are deeply passionate about maintaining the integrity of your hair. We believe that healthy hair is beautiful hair, which is why we go the extra mile to ensure it stays in top condition throughout every service.

Included in all of our colouring services is a post-colour treatment and mask, designed to leave your hair feeling nourished and looking its best when you leave the salon.

For our highlighting services, we’ve tailored a multi-step treatment process that includes three different treatments to care for your hair. Here’s how it works:

Wellaplex No.2 Treatment – We start with this bond-strengthening treatment, leaving it on for 5 minutes to help protect your hair during the lightening process.
Seal and Care Treatment – Next, we apply this to neutralize the pH balance, add moisture, and bring out a beautiful shine. It also helps to even out the porosity of your hair, especially for blondes.
Post-Colour Treatment & Mask – Finally, after applying toner, we finish with a nourishing mask to ensure your hair is in its best condition, leaving it soft, shiny, and full of life.

To help you unwind and fully enjoy your experience, we offer a gorgeous head massage with a hot towel after every colour service—allowing our treatments to work their magic while you decompress.

We also believe that maintaining healthy hair at home is just as important as the care you get in the salon. Think of it as your insurance for your hair.

Our team will be happy to guide you in selecting the right products to support the integrity and quality of your hair, so you can look and feel amazing every day, even between salon visits.

Hair lengths- What they are when we say

Short hair - sits at ear

Medium hair - sits at the shoulder

Long hair - sits below shoulders

Extra long - below the bra strap

Regrowth/root colour- 6-8weeks

When we colour your hair, we carefully mix the product based on your hair’s thickness, density, and length. If additional colour is needed to achieve your desired result, there may be a slight price adjustment.

MEET ME

Hi, I’m Jemma and I would love to share a bit about my journey with you. I'm originally from Cairns, I began my career over 20years ago with a school-based apprenticeship at Reds Hair and Spa, and from there, my passion for hairdressing took me on an incredible adventure.

After completing my apprenticeship, I moved to Melbourne to be with my now-husband Tim and further develop my skills. I spent 10 amazing years in Melbourne, working at some of the most prestigious events, including Sydney and Melbourne Fashion Weeks, and editorial shoots.

After a decade of growth, we decided to return to Cairns, to not only start our family but also to continue pursuing our careers and dreams. Coming home has been such a fulfilling chapter, and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to bring my expertise and love for hairdressing back to this beautiful place.

After having our gorgeous son I decided to open up a beautiful intimate Salon at the back of 'I do Flowers.' As the salon grow, I realised I needed a larger space and Allure popped up for sale.

Since stepping into Allure hair boutique my vision has been simple: To offer each guest a personalised experience where you’re treated with the utmost care and attention. This is more than just a salon; it’s a retreat—a space where you can unwind from the pressures of the outside world reconnect, and simply be.

At Allure, I take a one-on-one approach to every appointment, guiding you through your hair journey from start to finish. This isn’t a fast-paced, hustle-and-bustle atmosphere; it’s a place where you can relax, recharge, and leave feeling not only beautiful, but also truly refreshed.
